An evening of classical music in a comfortable setting, "Her Story, Her Notes" couples the lives of great female composers with the works that they produced. Mezzo-Soprano, Carolyn Sundlof Boudreau and Pianist, Erica Mueller bring sets of music together to celebrate women from Clara Schumann to Amy Beach. The stories of these women's lives come to new life in the fresh interpretations offered by this musical duo.
Filmed live at the Gallery Cabaret, this edited compilation highlights the duo's conversational presentation style and performance multimedia, demonstrating their unique ability to perform cabaret style in a relaxed bar setting while intimately engaging with the public.
Captured during a sold-out, ticketed event at Davenports Piano Bar, this video showcases the duo's capacity to perform entirely without amplification, capturing a traditional, sophisticated listening room atmosphere.
An evocative multi-generational exploration of lineage, legacy, and memory through the female voice.
